In lingua inglese, ha qualche appunto a matita nelle prime pagine perché è stato letto per un esame universitario

Mi aspettavo molto di più da una scrittrice così acclamata. Da grande appassionato di contesti americani passati (gli anni '50 in questo caso) non ho resistito è gli ho voluto dare una possibilità, anche perché la voce di Sylvia Plath è stata decantata come una voce femminile molto importante rispetto a tematiche come l'emancipazione e, in generale, la condizione della donna nella società, tematiche che dovrebbe interessare tutti. Mi ha deluso fortemente.
